M&S Nursing Bra
In the early stages of my pregnancy, I felt sore all over. I felt the nausea mostly below my ribcage, and it felt so sensitive that I couldnt have anything touching it. My normal bras were fine – I had had plenty of years to get used to them and for them to loosen a little, and they were underwired so still provided support, but eventually my breasts grew (as they do in the first trimester) and I needed to find some new maternity / nursing bras.
I tried a number of different bras, but the binding at the bottom of the bra felt extremely stiff and sat against my ribcage too tightly (this was initially due to the nausea and having anything pressing against that area)- however any looser and the entire bra felt unsupportive.
At a DD-cup I consider myself to be quite big-busted, so when I found these M&S nursing bras I never thought they would support me as they looked more like the old style crop-tops with the ribbed bottom that we all used to wear when we were introduced to the world of bras as teens, but as soon as I tried it on, for the first time in weeks I felt both supported and not suffocated in one! I could breathe again. It felt like wearing a cloud compared to the other bras that I had had to endure!
Luckily they come in a pack of two, and will last right the way through the pregnancy and nursing. I am so glad that I found these, they were an absolute godsend at a time where my body felt like it was at its most fragile, and it will last me for at least the year that they were intended to.
Do not hesitate in going out and getting these, they’re worth every penny.
