Pregnancy and Hospital Bag Essentials
In the run up to baby arriving, and especially with having to deal with the dreaded “baby brain”, trying to figure out what hospital bag essentials you need can be a little overwhelming.
As a mum going through pregnancy again, I found myself having to make the pregnancy and baby essentials list all over again, so thought I would share it with you! I figured out what was really handy for me the first time, then I researched what others found useful too and asked loads of mums about their must-haves.
If there is anything that you feel we have missed, please let us know and we will add it to the list!
Folic Acid – start taking this as soon as you have made the decision to try to conceive. It can significantly reduce the risk of of neural tube defects (NTDs), such as spina bifida.
Personally, this time round I have also bought myself a birthing ball, a book on hypnobirthing and another DVD on hypnobirthing for VBACs, and a TENS machine, but these things are optional.
